A Turbocharger, essentially an air compressor, harnesses the exhaust gases expelled by the engine as a power source to rotate a turbine wheel situated within a turbine housing, which is positioned in the exhaust passage. This rotating turbine, in turn, drives a compressor wheel mounted on the same axis, located within the intake passage. The compressor wheel then compresses the fresh air supplied through the air filter pipe, before delivering it into the cylinders of the engine.
